LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

Scope of Application

Thank you for applying a professional quality GPPF – Global Paint Protection Film (“Product”) on your automobile. Global PET Films Inc., Lake Forest Blvd., Ste # 410 Gaithersburg, MD 20877 (“GPF”) and the installing independent Product dealer indicated on the warranty card (“Seller”) are proud to provide you as the purchaser of the Product (“Buyer”), with a limited warranty (“Warranty”) for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase mentioned on the invoice (“Coverage Period”), against bubbling, cracking and yellowing of the Product. The 10 years coverage period applies only to clear Natural Shield. This warranty is available to a Buyer who has purchased the Product within the European Union.

Your Rights Under This Warranty

This Warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective Product in the case of bubbling, cracking and yellowing of the Product; if the Product is no longer available, GPF may, at its sole discretion, replace the Product with a similar product of similar function. Replacements will be carried out by the Seller or the regional GPF distributor (available under: www.GlobalPPF.com) (“GPF Distributor”). This Warranty does not include any labor costs or expenses that might be incurred by Buyer to re-apply the Product.

Conditions

This Warranty is only valid if the Product has been purchased from a Seller resident within the European Union, and the Product has been installed by such Seller.

In order to activate the Warranty and to ensure the Product remains in excellent condition year after year, please follow the care instruction mentioned below. Any failure to adhere to the care instructions listed below will immediately void the Warranty.

In addition, this Warranty is void unless the Product is properly applied by (1) a GPF certified and authorized professional application technician, (2) with proper care, (3) in accordance with GPF’s recommended installation instructions and procedures (which are available from the Seller and under: www.GlobalPPF.com) and (4) procedures on painted surface of vehicles manufactured by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

Exercise

Buyer must contact the Seller with proof of purchase, this warranty card and proof of identity as it concerns the Buyer within the applicable Coverage Period to initiate a claim under this Warranty.

Alternatively (e.g. if Seller is no longer available), Buyer can initiate a warranty claim within the applicable Coverage Period by contacting the GPF Distributor or write to: Global PET Films. INC. Warranty Service Department, 101, Lake Forest Blvd., Ste # 410 Gaithersburg, MD 20877, where the claim will be forwarded to the Seller or the GPF Distributor.

Care Instructions

Applied Product must be left to cure for a period of no less than 7 days prior to being exposed or subjected to washing or similar cleaning treatment so as to enable the pressure-sensitive adhesive to cure completely and for any application moisture to evaporate completely (“Cure Period”).

After the Cure Period of 7 days has elapsed, Buyer shall follow the care instructions mentioned below:

⦿ Clean the Product including the edges of Product where dirt can build up using a clean microfiber towel, on a egular basis, not less than once per week.
⦿ Remove any smashed bugs or tree sap or other materials from the Product as soon as possible to prevent any corrosive effect.
⦿ Wash your car as normal.  GPF does not recommend the use of high pressure washers to clean the Product.  However, if using a high pressure washer, the nozzle must be at least 36” away from the edges of Product to avoid peeling.
⦿ Avoid use of abrasive like powder and clay-type cleaners and degreasers, or rough sponges and paper towels on the Product.
⦿ Avoid use of solvent-based cleaners, bug removers, rubbing compound or any abrasive materials on the Product; avoid applying significant pressure on the Product when cleaning.
⦿ Use of sealant application once in every four months after car wash is recommended.

Coverage Limitations And Exclusions

EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SPECIFIED ABOVE, UNDER THIS WARRANTY NEITHER GPF NOR THE SELLER NOR THE GPF DISTRIBUTOR (1) GRANT ANY FURTHER RIGHTS, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR (2) MAKE ANY FURTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

IN ADDITION, THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER AND GPF, SELLER AND GPF DISTRIBUTOR HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, EXPENSE OR COST (“DAMAGE”), RESULTING TO THE PRODUCT FROM ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

⦿ Damage to the Product caused by accident, misuse and unapproved application of the Product.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product as a result of poor application quality.
⦿ General wear and tear to the Product.
⦿ Damage resulting to the Product from flying stones, from buffer accidents or by heavy impact from external source.
⦿ Damage that is caused to the Product by improper maintenance or failure to follow care instructions.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product by pressure washer not used according to the above care instructions or damage caused to the Product by strong solvents or manually peeling up Product or manually scratching of the Product.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product by outside forces and third parties such as auto body shops, service shops, etc.
⦿ Inability of the Product to adhere to the surface with coatings like ceramic, teflon or wax.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product because it was applied on repainted vehicles.

UNDER THIS WARRANTY GPF; SELLER AND GPF DISTRIBUTOR WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, DIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE LEGAL THEORY IS BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER THEORY OF LAW OR EQUITY.

THE AFOREMENTIONED LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY SHALL NOT APPLY TO OR LIMIT ANY CLAIMS OF DAMAGES TO PERSONS, DAMAGES CAUSED BY INTENT OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE AS WELL AS CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES UNDER ACCORDING APPLICABLE PRODUCT LIABILITY LAWS.

The degradation of Product with time due to climate conditions is a natural and unavoidable phenomenon. A slight progressive change of the transparency and brightness, as well as a slight peeling off at the edges and around the rivets are normal phenomenons which do not fall within the scope of this Warranty.

YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THIS WARRANTY (SEE ABOVE UNDER “YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THIS WARRANTY”) WILL BE FULLFILLED BY THE SELLER OR THE GPF DISTRIBUTOR. YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY CLAIM AGAINST GPF THAT GPF CARRIES OUT THE REPLACEMENT DESCRIBED UNDER “YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THIS WARRANTY”.

Limited Product Warranty

Thank you for applying a professional quality GPPF – Global Paint Protection Film (“Product”) on your Automobile. Global PET Films Inc. (“GPF”) and installing independent Product Dealer (“Seller”) are proud to provide you as the purchaser of the Product (“Buyer”), with a limited warranty on Product (“warranty”) for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase (“Coverage Period”), against bubbling, cracking and yellowing of the Product. The 5 years coverage period applies only to clear Natural Shield. Warranty shall only be available to a Buyer who has purchased and used the Product within the geographies of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.

This warranty is extended to the Buyer and coverage begins at the date of purchase mentioned on invoice. This warranty is not transferable to any other person or entity.

With the exception to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this Product is expressly limited to Coverage Period of this warranty. Some States or Provinces provide for implied warranties and with this exception this warranty is hereby limited. This Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, agreements and similar obligations of Seller and/or GPF with respect to repair and/or replacement of the film. UNDER THIS WARRANTY THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FILM IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WHICH A CUSTOMER CAN OBTAIN FROM SELLER AND/OR GPF and GPF/Seller declines any responsibility of labour charges or expenses that might be incurred by Buyer towards installation of replaced Product.

Liability of GPF/Seller is limited to the warranty provided herein and no other warranties or representations are provided. No person, distributor, agent, dealer or professional installation company is authorized to modify, change or extend the terms of this limited warranty or to assume or create any obligations or liabilities for GPF/Seller.

Under no circumstances will GPF or Seller be responsible for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, direct, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the product and regardless of whether the legal theory is based in contract, tort or other theory of law or equity to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Care Instructions

In order to activate the warranty and to ensure the Product remains in excellent condition year after year, please follow the care instruction mentioned below. Any failure to adhere to the conditions listed below will immediately void the warranty.

Applied Product must be left to cure for a period of not less than 48 hours prior to being exposed or subjected to washing, or similar cleaning treatment so as to enable the pressure-sensitive adhesive to cure completely and for any application moisture to evaporate completely (“cure period”)

After the cure period of 48 hours has elapsed, Buyer shall follow the care instructions mentioned below:

⦿ Clean the Product including the edges of Product where dirt can build up using a clean microfiber towel, on a egular basis, not less than once per week.
⦿ Remove any smashed bugs or tree sap or other materials from the Product as soon as possible to prevent any corrosive effect.

Coverage Limitations And Exclusions

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, EXPENSE OR COST (“DAMAGE”), RESULTING TO THE PRODUCT FROM ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS AND GPF AND SELLER HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITIES AS MENTIONED BELOW:

⦿ Damage to the Product caused by accident, misuse and unapproved application of the Product.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product as a result of poor application quality.
⦿ General wear and tear to the Product.
⦿ Damage resulting to the Product from flying stones, from buffer accidents or by heavy impact from external source.
⦿ Damage that is caused to the Product by improper maintenance or failure to follow care instructions.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product by pressure washer not used according to the above care instructions or damage caused to the Product by strong solvents or manually peeling up Product or manually scratching of the Product.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product by outside forces and third parties such as auto body shops, service shops, etc.
⦿ Inability of the Product to adhere to the surface with coatings like ceramic, teflon or wax.
⦿ Damage caused to the Product because it was applied on repainted vehicles.
⦿ The degradation of Product with time due to climate conditions which is a natural and unavoidable phenomenon.
⦿ A slight progressive change of the transparency and brightness, as well as peeling off.
⦿ In the event State or Federal Laws prohibiting installation/application of the Product on the vehicle, GPF/Seller does not take liability towards breach of any State or Federal Laws as a consequence of installation/application of product on the vehicle.
⦿ Please check your State and Local Laws before installing the Product on head lamps of your vehicle; every State has different policies for aftermarket accessories.
⦿ This warranty is void unless the Product is properly applied by a GPF certified and authorized professional application technician with proper care in accordance with GPF’s installation instructions on painted surface of vehicles manufactured by an Original Equipment Manufacturer.

UNDER THIS WARRANTY GPF; SELLER AND GPF DISTRIBUTOR WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, DIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE LEGAL THEORY IS BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER THEORY OF LAW OR EQUITY.
